Biomed Solutions develops and invests in business opportunities based upon a strong foundation of intellectual property. We hold equity interests in public and private companies and patents covering a wide variety of innovations involved in future advances in medical devices and treatments.

 

We are based in the historic Pittsford Flour Mill in Schoen Place. Pittsford is a suburb of Rochester, NY.

 

Biomed holds equity in Nanoset, LLC, Myotech, LLC, and Nanocomp, LLC.

 

In December, 2000 we spun off our LTR Antisense company into an equity interest in Biophan Technologies, Inc., a publicly-traded company (symbol BIPH) we co-founded with Wilson Greatbatch, P.E., FACC, the inventor of the first successful implantable pacemaker that was licensed to Medtronic in 1960.   We hold an equity interest in Biophan.   Biophan holds over 103 issued and pending patents.

 

In 2004, we co-founded OncoVista to pursue a series of anti-cancer technologies we helped develop, and technologies developed by Dr. Alex Weis, OncoVista CEO, former co-founder and Executive Vice President of Ilex Oncology.

 

The innovations described on our website are available for licensing and/or collaborative opportunities. We have licensing and R&D arrangements with universities and other organizations.
